ART AS A WAY OF LIFE
My art career began at age three and a half. The medium was some well chosen color crayons and the canvas was our families living room white wall. It was my first completed mural. I was not greeted with the pleasure one at this age would expect. However, that experience did not stop me from enjoying the arts.
I graduated with a B.A. in painting from San Jose State. I stopped painting and being an artist in my twenties in order to raise my 4 sons. I just started painting again-45 years later.
Color, form and space are the gift of creation. Using paints, canvas and sometimes mixed medias gives me the grateful ability to create beauty. Having fun and being playful is a big motivator for my art.
I am a Marriage, Family Therapist in Santa Cruz County and I have been for over 30 years. I really want to bring peace, well-being and ease here on earth through all of my works.

Let The Beauty We Love
Today, like every other day, we wake up empty
And frightened. Don’t open the door to the study
And begin reading. Take down a musical instrument.
Let the beauty we love be what we do.
There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground.
